Happy Monday everyone!
Today I am showcasing a card using our upcoming July Stamp of the Month. No I can't give you a link yet but if you check back on the 1st I will do a short post giving you the link! So in the meantime you can see the card and the supplies I used to make the card. Just click on the links for better and bigger details on the supplies I used. Here is the card:
The frame and the sentiments in the middle of the card are from the stamp of the month. The flowers that I used are from the Quick Cards Island Greetings stamp. I colored in the flowers with three of our Shinhan markers:
Golden Yellow Marker and Leaf Green Marker and our Marigold Marker.
I used the Damask Embossing Folder for the texture on the white background and the wonderful word. I used our
Canary Cardstock for the base of the card. Then I finished by adding a few of our Blue and Green Epoxy bubbles. I hope you enjoyed this card. Have a bright and beautiful day..after all Life is Wonderful!! Hugs!

You're Awesome Card
Good Afternoon everyone! I went on a fun vacation and now I get to start creating my cards again. I hope you all enjoyed this last week hopefully doing something creative!
Sometimes we all need to be told that we are awesome! We don't need to hear those words because we have done something wonderful or excelled in something. We might just be doing our normal day to day accomplishments and the out of the blue hearing from someone we know that they think you are awesome is such a fabulous feeling and it is such a nice surprise in the humdrum of daily living! So with that in mind, I decided to make this card to send to someone just because I think they need to know they are awesome. Which will be hard because I know a lot of awesome people!
Here is card and the supplies that I used to create it( just click on the links to see the products in detail):
This was a very easy card to make.
For those who follow this blog, know that Close To My Heart has a program called Picture My Life. They are a collection of cards that you put in pocket pages to scrapbook with.
It is a wonderful, fast, easy way to scrapbook your memories.
I decided to take one of those cards out to make a greeting card instead of stamping..gasp! LOL I used the For Always Picture My Life scrapbooking Program and I used our Whimsey Assortment Paper Fundamentals paper as a background under the card. I then took a piece of that Sorbet Whimsey paper and using our Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge I cut out a cute little butterfly for the middle of the card.
I then added some White Shimmer Trim and another piece of the Whimsey paper to make a couple of cute little banners on the side.
Stamped the sentiment with our stamp set from our Artfully Sent Cricut Collection and then added a few of our Coral Reef Sequins. I finished with just a few of the Bitty Sparkles.
I hope you enjoyed this card and maybe you will be inspired to send a card to someone because you think they are awesome! Hugs!

Center Step Birthday Card
Today is a super cute card that I was able to make for my Daughter-in-law for her birthday! It was fun to create and even more fun to give to her! Now you know why I had to wait to post it!
All the products I used on this card are from Close To My Heart. Click on the links to see the images in detail:
Started out by using Lagoon Cardstock as the base for this card. Then I used Blossom Paper Packet for the background paper. I used You Mean the World to Me Stamp set for the birthday greeting.
I used Shower Flowers Stamp Set for the flowers. I used Pear Ink Pad, Smoothie Ink Pad and Glacier Ink Pad for the flower colors and leaves. I stamped the sentiment in Lagoon Ink.
I finished the card using the Coral Reef Sequins and Bitty Sparkles. I hope you enjoy this card as much as I had creating it! Have a great weekend! Hugs!

Another Happy Tuesday!
Hello!
I am posting later than I usually do because these last few days I have been busy working on cards from some of my old Close To My Heart card kits. I have been "storing" them thinking I will put these on the back burner until I have time. It seems that I never have the time or maybe I should say, I never "made" the time! So far I have completed at least 4 of those kits! Whoo hoo! I have more to do but it is fun seeing those completed kits and who knows what I will do with those cards..gifts?? Ummmm...we will see! So instead of working on the card kits today I took the time to create this card:
I started out by using our Colonial White Cardstock and the Seaside Paper Packet and put that on top of our Desert Sand Cardstock. Then I used a piece of Glacier colored paper from our Paper Fundamental Whimsey Assortment Set as well.
I embossed the Colonial White paper with our Dot Embossing Folder.
Then I used our Have a Happy Day Stamp Set . I used the Glacier Ink Pad and the Pear Ink Pad for the large flower.
I used the Sorbet Ink Pad and the Pear Ink pad for the smaller flower.
I did all the flowers and leaves in 2nd generation. What that means is that I inked the stamp, stamped it on some scrap paper and then stamped the flower again without re-inking! This makes for a softer lighter image.
I sponged all the edges of the all the pieces of paper with our Desert Sand Ink Pad. For the sentiment I used the Sorbet ink from our Whimsey Mini Pigment Ink Set. Finished the card using the Coral Reef Sequins.
I have also made a super cute card but I have to wait to show it to you because it is a surprise and when I give it away then I will show it to you! So check back this weekend and I will post that one! Until then have a great week! Hugs!

Ice Cream anyone?
Good Afternoon!
June is here and today in Colorado where I live is now in the 90's. It is amazing how fast it gets hot here!
And with that thought, this new card is showcasing our June stamp of the month set. This set is such a cute set and talks about a food that is used a lot on hot days- ice cream!
Here is the link to click on and see this cute set Ice Cream Dream stamp set
Here is the card I created today:
I challenged myself to try to stay with two colors with the exception of the cute dog..you can't have a green dog! You can have green ice cream..key lime anyone?
I used the Pear Stamp pad and the matching Pear 12X12 cardstock. I also used the Lagoon Ink Pad and instead of using the matching Lagoon cardstock, I decided to use our Teal Glitter Paper packet to give it some fun sparkle!
I used the Chocolate mini ink pad from our the Basic Mini Pigment Ink Pad Set and stamped the cute dog and then embossed with our Clear Super Fine Embossing Powder and I colored him in with our wonderful Shinhan markers!
Remember our Stamp of the Month is only good through the month of June! I had so much fun creating this card, I just might decide to do another card to share later! Until then, have a great week! Hugs!
