Workshop card #3 January 2016

Hello!

I have had this paper and stamp set for a while and I just couldn't wait any longer to make a card!

I used the Baby Zoo Occasions stamp set and I used the Georgie Paper Packet.

I also used 4 colors on this card
1. Juniper Stamp Pad
2. Champagne Stamp Pad
3. Slate Stamp Pad
4. Canary Stamp Pad

I also used Glacier Cardstock and Glacier Extra Thick Twine.  After stamping the card, I embossed it using a Confetti Embossing Folder.  After attaching to the card, I added the twine using the fabulous Liquid Glass that CTMH carries. It not only can give 3-d sparkle and shine to your projects, it works wonderful attaching twine, buttons etc. and it drys clear!

Workshop Card #2 for January 2016

Good Morning!

This is the 2nd card that we made at our workshop:

On this card I used our Beloved Bouquet January Stamp of the Month.  It is a very elegant stamp set that also has another smaller rose, more Valentine sentiments and a Thinking of you sentiment.  Make sure to click on the above link if you want to see all the stamps included.

I also used the pretty paper from the Sangria Paper Packet,  a strip from CTMH 12X12 Red Glitter Paper and a piece of Champagne Cardstock.  I stamped the rose with Pomegrante Ink Pad and the leaves with the Fern Ink Pad.  I also used those same colors on the edge of the card as well. 

Also, I took a class that taught me that if you take your stamp and just "slide" it across the pad, you can get a totally different look!  I like that look for something new!  Look closely at the rose and you can see the fine lines.

Workshop #1 card for January 2016

Good Morning everyone!  
Today I am showing you one of the four cards that we made for my January Workshop. Make sure you click on the links to see everything in detail. 

This is a simple belated birthday card using the oh so cute Animal Greetings Stamp Set that has 30 different stamps and sentiments!

I used the patterned  paper from the Zoe Paper Pack for three of the strips. On the top strip I used Glacier Cardstock and a stamp from Assorted Edges Stamp set and matching Glacier Ink to stamp the cute circles.   I also used the Glacier ink to sponge all the strips and around the elephant.  I finished it off with Teal Shimmer Trim to make it pop.

I stamped the elephant with the Black Momento Pad and colored it in with colored pencils.

Fun Thinking of You Card

Hello!

One of my goals this year is to try to send more cards to people to brighten their day.  No specific reason just because.  I sat down and made some fun cards to put in my stash so I would have them on hand when I think of someone to send them to.  I wonder who will get the first one of these..ummm who knows!  

I used So Many Smiles Stamp Set for this card.  

I used the Kaleidoscope Paper Packet on the side.  On our top of our patterned paper we have a cute little border that corresponds with the paper.  Close To My Heart calls it a zip strip.  If you cut that off the top you can use it for borders on your cards or scrapbook pages because it is 12 inches in length and the cool thing is when you cut it off, our papers are still 12X12 size!  So I cut that off and used it to accent this card.

I am back!! Thank You Card

Good Morning!

My intention was to take a couple of weeks off to enjoy the holidays with my family and the holidays went a lot longer than I anticipated!  I have been making cards and sending them out  but just not posting them on my blog.  So hopefully I can once again start posting and sharing my creations with you!

Here is today's card:

This card is using the Close To My Heart Beloved Bouquet January Stamp of the Month  Click on the link to see the entire stamp set.  This set has some wonderful Valentine sentiments, another smaller rose and leaves and a Thinking of You sentiment.

I only used two stamp colors to make this card.  I used the Pear Ink Pad and the Sunset Ink Pad.

The thank you sentiment is from our Cricut Artfully Sent Collection.  It is one of three stamp sets that are included with the Cricut cartridge that also cuts 700 images as well. 

I also used some paper from the fundamentals paper packet from our last catalog but this catalog has the same cardstock that is glossy on one side and cute patterns on the other side only with different patterns, which I love!  See them here:  Adventure Fundamentals Paper Packet.
