Good Afternoon!
I have been busy making cards this week. This card was a fun card using a stamp set that I have had for a while and I finally got it out and decided to create with it. Now I wonder why I waited so long! I think it turned out nice.
For this card I used our pretty Brushed paper packet and our Hollyhock and Canary Exclusive Cardstock and Japanese Blossom Quick Card stamp set.
I stamped the image in black and colored it in with our wonderful Shinhan markers.
And our card stock has a white core and so it so easy to sand it and see the white peeking through for a whole new effect.
I added Black striped Twill ribbon and Bitty Sparkles to embellish the card.
I have another card ready but that is showing our upcoming February Stamp of the Month! Later! Hugs!

Workshop Cards!! Warning long post!!
Hello,
I finally get to post the cards that were done at my card workshop..or as my customers call it..Stamp club! We had fun making these cards and we missed those who couldn't make it! Now if you aren't a club member, you can just scroll down and see the cards that were made. If you are a club member, I will use this blog to show you how to put together the cards that we did. You will find your "kits" all stamped up with the embellishments included and all you will have to do is finish them and glue them together. They will be included in your orders when you come get them.
A side note: If you live around here and like what you see, you can be a member of our Stamp club! All you have to do is put a $25 order in every other month and the kits will be included with your order! The kits are FREE when you are a member. When you are a member you also get to be a hostess and get FREE products plus the catalogs and free shipping on your hostess gifts! We have lots of fun at our club but if you can't come, you still get the kits and I take the time to stamp them up for you! After the club date I will post on my blog and show you how to put them together! Contact me if are interested!!
Card #1:
This is a fun card using our new Hopscotch Paper Packet
Put the Sunset background paper on the top of the card. Then attach the cute circle printed background texture paper on the bottom. Trim the bottom if I happen to cute it a little long. Then attach over the seam, our new white shimmer trim. Attach the stamped birthday cake to the middle of card stock and attach to the middle of card. Add the cute White Enamel Stars and you are done!
Card #2:
This is not "my" idea. I got it from our fabulous Workshops on the Go Heartstrings Cardmaking kit
I just changed one of the patterns a bit. I added the embossed arrows made with our Arrow Embossing Folder on the bottom of the card. Attach the stamped images on the top of the card. Then cut the paper to look like ribbon to the middle of the card. Then I added the arrow and heart from our Stuck on you puffies. Added the Happy Valentines day on the corner.
Card #3:
This is a pretty card using our Heartstrings Paper Packet and our Happy To be Friends Stamp set.
I got this idea from our new Expressions catalog! This set of 17 has numerous sentiments to use for a number of occasions. In the catalog they used the same pattern but different colors and a different sentiment. They also used stitching across the top. I didn't want to drag out the sewing machine and decided to use our Stitch Guide and Foam Mat across the top of the paper and the paper ribbon I embossed with our Heart Embossing Folder. The greenery was stamped with Sweet Leaf ink, the larger flowers are stamped with Hollyhock ink and the smaller flowers with Cranberry ink. Added a couple of Clear sparkles and then hand drew a fine line around the card to finish it up.
Card #4:
This is my attempt of "shabby chic". One of my customers said that she loved that type of card and so I challenged myself to see if could attempt a card that is way different than my normal way of doing cards. I again used the Heartstrings paper packet. I used the Edge Distresser on the edges of the background paper to give that shabby look. I then sponged the edges with Whisper ink and then I took my Quilling Tool to turn the edges of the paper down. I then attached the Cranberry card stock to the top of the paper and the bottom of the paper so that it peeked out from behind the turned down corners and then glued that down to card base. I then attached the Icon Frame cut out with my Artbooking collection Cricut Cartridge.
Then using Forever in My Heart stamp set I stamped the large heart with cranberry ink and the small heart with whisper ink and sponged the small heart around the edges with hollyhock ink. I stamped the sentiment with cranberry ink and added a cute puffy heart from the Stuck on you puffies that I mentioned earlier in my blog. Added a couple of silver sequins and you are done!
Wasn't that fun! Thanks for making it to the end. Enjoy! Hugs!

Card Challenge
Good evening! A week has already passed..whoa..where did it go? It seems that is the story of my life lately. Need to re-write my story! LOL
Anyway, I have a fun and quick card for you today. I am slightly tired of Valentine's day and it is not even February! It seems all the cards I am seeing lately are mostly Valentine's day. Not that there is a thing wrong with it, I just wanted to do a different theme with this card.
Now here is my challenge, if you comment on my blog, or on facebook or if you know my email and let me know what Close To My Heart Products I used on this card, I will send it to the first person who gets it right! If you don't have a catalog , see it on my website: http://marianqcreations.ctmh.com/
Or if you happen to have a catalog, go check it out and see what stamp sets I used, what paper and what embellishments and if you are right then I will send it to you! Good luck!

Happy Saturday!
Hello Everyone!
I have been working on my workshop cards all week and finally got them done yesterday! Whew! It was fun to work on them in the middle of all the other things that I get to do each week. Don't worry you will get to see them on my blog after my workshop in a little over a week.
Today I needed a couple of birthday cards. So I made this card:
It is a fun card using:
Gypsy Cardstock
Matching Gypsy ink
Dot Embossing Folder
Paper ribbon cut from our Paper fundamentals paper pack
Ribbon cut from our Teal Shimmer trim
Silver Geometric Washi tape
Mini Medley Black Accents collection
Cut the butterfly and tags from our Cricut Artiste Collection
And then finished by stamping on on the pre-cut tags the cute tag stamp from:
Holiday Tag Occasions Stamp set
Enjoy the rest of the weekend everyone!

Easy Winter Card
I hope you had a nice weekend! Today I am posting a card that is another winter card but super easy to do! For all the amazing people that check out my blog!
Using the Cricut Artbooking collection that was used on my last card, I once again cut a different overlay using Crystal blue cardstock. I then attached our Black and Grey Glitter paper to the back of the overlay and attached to the card.
I then embossed with Superfine Silver Embossing powder a stamp from our Exclusive January Stamp of the Month. This wonderful stamp set is really a Valentine stamp set but I think this saying works well on this card as well. Put our Glitter paper behind that sentiment as well and attached to the card. Finished the card with Baker's Twine.
That is it! A fast and beautiful card. Have a good week and check back the end of the week for another card that I get to create! Hugs!

Finally!!!
Hello everyone! Family, visiting, worshiping, presents, hugs and love. All the things that make the holidays so special. Now the tree is put away for another year, the decorations are down and a brand New Year is upon us to grow, love and learn. I am excited to now have the time to once again start posting on my blog and I hope each and every one of you have had a wonderful Christmas and may this upcoming year bring you all good memories and joy!
Living where I live, I get to look outside and see a lot of this each winter:
It is snowing as I write this and of course I can't help but do a few "Winter" cards. I really would like to do a few Spring cards but that won't happen for a while!
This card is a fun winter card to send to a friend who might need a bit of cheering up!
On this card, I started by using Cricut Artbooking Collection to cut a overlay and instead of attaching the overlay to the card, I stenciled through the overlay on the front of the card as a background. I then stamped the bears from Polar Bear Holiday and colored in with colored pencils and cut out and attached to the card. I also cut out little snowflakes from the above cartridge as well. Then I used our cute Stuck on You Puffies from our new Seasonal Expressions catalog.
And a couple of Sliver Sequins to finish up the card.
A fun way to end a cold winter day! Have a great weekend and check back on Monday for another easy winter card! Hugs!
