Workshop Cards!! Warning long post!!

Hello,

I finally get to post the cards that were done at my card workshop..or as my customers call it..Stamp club!  We had fun making  these cards and we missed  those who couldn't make it!  Now if you aren't a club member, you can just scroll down and see the cards that were made.  If you are a club member, I will use this blog to show you how to put together the cards that we did.  You will find your "kits" all stamped up with the embellishments included and all you will have to do is finish them and glue them together.  They will be included in your orders when you come get them.

A side note:  If you live around here and like what you see, you can be a member of our Stamp club!  All you have to do is put a $25 order in every other month and the kits will be included with your order!  The kits are FREE when you are a member.  When you are a member you also get to be a hostess and get FREE products plus the catalogs and free shipping on your hostess gifts!   We have lots of fun at our club but if you can't come, you still get the kits and I take the time to stamp them up for you!  After the club date I will post on my blog and show you how to put them together!  Contact me if are interested!!

Card #1:

This is a fun card using our new Hopscotch Paper Packet

Put the Sunset background paper on the top of the card.  Then attach the cute circle printed background texture paper on the bottom.  Trim the bottom if I happen to cute it a little long.  Then attach over the seam, our new white shimmer trim.  Attach the stamped birthday cake to the middle of card stock and attach to the middle of card.  Add the cute  White Enamel Stars and you are done!

Card #2:

This is not "my" idea.  I got it from our fabulous  Workshops on the Go Heartstrings Cardmaking kit
I just changed one of the patterns a bit.  I added the embossed arrows made with our Arrow Embossing Folder on the bottom of the card.  Attach the stamped images on the top of the card.  Then cut the paper to look like ribbon to the middle of the card.  Then I added the arrow and heart from our Stuck on you puffies.  Added the  Happy Valentines day on the corner.

Card #3:

This is a pretty card using our Heartstrings Paper Packet and our Happy To be Friends Stamp set.
I got this idea from our new Expressions catalog!  This set of 17 has numerous sentiments to use for a number of  occasions.  In the catalog they used the same pattern but different colors and a different sentiment. They also used stitching across the top. I didn't want to drag out the sewing machine and decided to use our Stitch Guide and Foam Mat across the top of the paper  and the paper ribbon I embossed with our Heart Embossing Folder. The greenery was stamped with Sweet Leaf ink, the larger flowers are stamped with Hollyhock ink and the smaller flowers with Cranberry ink.  Added a couple of Clear sparkles and then hand drew a fine line around the card to finish it up.

Card #4:

This is my attempt of "shabby chic". One of my customers said that she loved that type of card and so I challenged myself to see if could attempt a card that is way different than my normal way of doing cards. I again used the Heartstrings paper packet.  I used the Edge Distresser on the edges of the background paper to give that shabby look.  I then sponged the edges with Whisper ink and then I took my Quilling Tool to turn the edges of the paper down.  I then attached the Cranberry card stock to the top of the paper and the bottom of the paper so that it peeked out from behind the turned down corners and then glued that down to card base.  I then attached the  Icon Frame cut out with my Artbooking collection Cricut Cartridge.
Then using Forever in My Heart stamp set I stamped the large heart with cranberry ink and the small heart with whisper ink and sponged the small heart around the edges with hollyhock ink.  I stamped the sentiment with cranberry ink and added a cute puffy heart from the Stuck on you puffies that I mentioned earlier in my blog.  Added a couple of silver sequins and you are done!

Wasn't that fun!  Thanks for making it to the end.  Enjoy!  Hugs!
