Sympathy Card

Hello!
Happy Saturday everyone!

It seems that even though I love, love making cards, it is so hard for me to make a sympathy card. But thank goodness I have the supplies to do so.

Click on the links to see the supplies used to make this card.

Started with a patterned paper from the Zoe Paper Pack.

Stamped the Sympathy sentiment from the  Sincere Expressions Stamp Set.

Attached to the front of the card base then attached a strip of Crystal Blue Cardstock and then I took a piece of Sorbet Cardstock and ran it through the Damask Embossing Folder.  I sanded the top to bring out the pattern a bit more then attached to the strip of the blue cardstock.

I then took some Sweet Leaf Cardstock and using the Cricut Artistry Cartridge I cut the base of the flowers out.   I took those cute bases and put the leaf section through the Damask Embossing folder. I finished them out by sponging the edges with Sweet Leaf Ink Pad.  I then took some Canary Cardstock and cut out the matching flowers using the above Cricut cartridge and attached to the base.

I then dug through my stash and found some black gems (discontinued) to put in the middle of the flowers. Done!

Thanks for stopping by!  Hope your weekend is a great one!  Hugs!

Fun Birthday Card

Hello everyone!  I hope your weekend was wonderful!

Today's fun card is a simple birthday card or you can use it as a "congrats" type of card as well.

I will list all the products used to make this card.  Just click on the links to see the products in detail and larger!

For the decorative paper I used Magical Paper package and for the circle cardstock I used Honey Cardstock and the blue under the red patterned paper I used Crystal Blue Cardstock.

I used a mini stamp set called Pinata Occasions and this cute set is only $2.95!  I then used the Doodled Designs Stamp Set around the Pinata stamp.   Then I took our fun new Medium Waterbrush and the palette of our beautiful Watercolor Paints and brushed a light blue color to the doodled edge. Colored the pinata with the wonderful ShinHan markers.   Attached all the pieces together and added a strip of the fun Silver Shimmer Trim under the Pinata and then added some sequins from the Magical Sequins set.  Done!

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope your day is as fun as this stamp set! Hugs!

Workshop card #3 for May 2016

Hello there,

Here is another workshop card that we did:

As usual, click on the links in this post to see the stamp set and supplies used in greater detail. Most of the time the stamp set has more stamps than what is used on the card so don't forget to check out the link!

For the base of the card I used Whisper Cardstock and then I took a piece of White Daisy Cardstock and stamped the sentiment from A Bunch of Love Stamp Set using the Whisper Exclusive Ink Pad.

Then I used the Chevron Embossing Folder over the top of the stamped image. Then I added  a piece of Whisper Thick Twine to the front and attached to the card base.

I then took one of the dies from the Bunch of Love Thin Cuts Dies and cut the image out and then I took the matching stamp from the above Bunch of Love stamp set and using the Slate pigment ink pad from the Basic Mini Pigment Ink Set, I stamped the image and then embossed with Clear Embossing Powder.

I then took the Watercolor Pencils and using the brand new Small Watercolor Brush, I water colored  the flowers. I attached  the cut out image on top of the twine and then added some pretty sequins from the new Florence Sequins Embellishments.

Thanks for stopping by today!  Have a great day!  Hugs!

Workshop Card #2 for May 2016

Here is third card that I did for my workshop:

This card uses the cute Celebrate With Cake May Stamp of the Month Set.  This set has numerous cakes to choose from, so click on the link to see them all! Remember this set is only available to purchase this month!  You still have two days to go to my web site to purchase it if you want it!

I used paper from the Calypso Paper Packet for the background paper.  I also used the follow card stock colors:
Lagoon Cardstock,  Honey Cardstock and Pear Cardstock.  I also used the Confetti Embossing Folder on the Honey and Pear pieces of cardstock.

I used the wonderful Shinhan Markers to color in the images and to make the cake "sparkle and shine" I used the fun White Shimmer Trim and finished by adding some Bitty Sparkles and some Enamel Gems to finish the card.   Easy but cute card.

I needed to make some special Thank You cards and I love the new paper from the Close To My Heart National Scrapbooking month special.  For the month of May..yes I know it is almost over..that is why I am posting this today instead of the workshop cards I did last week..so if you really want this stamp set and paper you still have time to purchase it.  So make sure you click on the links to see the entire stamp set and the paper.  They are amazing!

Happy Times Paper Packet this retails for 14.95 each for the packet of paper but you can get it for FREE with a $60 order !

Happy Times Stamp Set goes so beautifully with the paper set above!

I used Pomegranate Cardstock and matching Pomegranate Exclusive Ink Pad for the sentiment and flower and I also used Canary Exclusive Ink Pad for the other flower and finished by using Fern Exclusive Ink Pad for the leaves.

I used a Circle Diffuser with the Damask Embossing Folder to get the "un-embossed" area with the  embossing folder.  I used a thank you sentiment from the Sending Love Stamp Set.  Finished the flowers with some Bitty Sparkles and I am done!

I am back! New cards!

Hello all!

I bet you think that I have dropped off the face of blogger land!  But I am back! Whoo hoo!  I have been getting ready for a workshop, going on a vacation to see my kids out of state-fun times! and then a short, not planned camping trip in our new camper. Just got back today!   I am finally able to post some cards that I have made for a workshop and some other cards I have made.  So today I will start with one of my workshop cards that I did last week and will continue for the next few days with more..so stay tuned.

Today's card:

This is one of my favorite cards that I made for the workshop.  Isn't it the cutest! I used a number of items.  So click on the links to see the stamp set, embellishments etc. to see in larger detail and check out the extra stamps on the set.

Tickled Pink Stamp Set and this also has dies to cut them out with:
Tickled Pink Thin Cuts Dies
And there is matching paper to match the stamp set as well as some other fun background papers in the packet.  I put one of the designs on the front of the card.  So cute! It is called Calypso Paper Packet and of course, you can't forget the Calypso Washi Tape Pack and then add the Cute Calypso Sequins . There are even some sequins with stripes included in the package!

I also used two colors of stamp pads:  Pixie Exclusive Ink and Cotton Candy Exclusive Ink as well as a black pad. I used the Cotton Candy Cardstock and the Black Cardstock.  As always, if you have questions about any of the items. Don't hesitate to leave a message on the blog and I will try hard to answer them!

Thanks for stopping by!!  Hugs!

Mother's Day Card 2016

Hello!

Been busy and now I finally get a chance to make a card and post!  Mother's day is fast approaching and I wanted to get a card made for my mom.  My dear sweet mom is my rock and my strength.  She is such a strong woman and I hope to be like her "when I grow up". She is fighting cancer, two surgeries to fix broken bones and losing my Dad all in  one year.  I so admire her and I hope she will like this card when I surprise her with it on Mother's Day.

I decided to use the color cranberry because red is her most favorite color of all.   I used the  My Mother Stamp Set and the Cranberry Stamp Pad.  I used the matching Cranberry Cardstock to border the sentiment.  I also used a piece to punch out a scalloped border using the Scallop Border Punch.  I also used the Scallop Embossing Folder on the bottom of the card.

I used the pigment cranberry ink from the Adventure Mini Pigment Inks Set and also used the Clear Super Fine Embossing Powder for the flowers to make them shine!  I cut them out and added a couple of Red Enamel Gems to the centers.  I also used the Pear ink from the Adventure set as well for the leaves.   To finish it all off.. used my favorite Bitty Sparkles on all the tiny flowers.  After all a girl can't have too much bling!

Hope you  enjoyed this card.  Thanks so much for stopping by!
