Good Morning!
The weekend if flying by and I didn't take the time yesterday to post my card that I created. So before the weekend is over, I thought I better get this done!
Today I am showcasing a stamp set called Someone Special and I am also using our Whimsey Assortment of our Paper Fundamentals Patterned Cardstock.
This stamp set is a beautiful flower set with friendship sentiments and can be used for someone you love as well. The cardstock has a glossy pattern on one side and white/colored patterns on the other side. There are ten colors in this packet. Such fun Spring/Summer colors to enjoy! Click on the links above to see it in detail!
Here is the card:
I used our Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge to cut out the circles in the middle.
I used the Gold Embossing Powder to stamp the sentiments and do the edges of the larger circle.
I used Canary Exclusive Inks Stamp Pad for the flower and Sweet Leaf Exclusive Inks Stamp Pad for the leaves.
Added a few of our Gold Sequins to finish off the card!
Thanks so much for looking at my card and I hope you are having a great weekend! I am so enjoying the sunshine and warm weather!
Hugs to all!

Happy Tuesday
Hello!
Today I am posting a card using a stamp set that I found in my stash that I had not used yet! I spent a wonderful day stamping with a dear friend who was here visiting from out of state. We were looking at my stamps and I saw this stamp set Bodacious Banners and mentioned to her that I should make a card using this set. Here is the card that I did:
Of course, I also used another stamp set with it and it is called:
Happy Everything
I also used our Scallop Embossing Folder along with three colors of stamp pads:
Sunset Stamp Pad
Pacifica Stamp pad and
Topiary Stamp pad
I colored in the balloons with our wonderful Shinhan Markers. Check out all the colors here: Carmine Red, Cherry Pink, Golden Yellow and Merigold.
On top of the banners I added some of our White Adhesive Back Shimmer Trim. I put a few sequins from our Silver Sequin Assortment for some added bling. Then attached the white card base to our 12 X 12 Topiary cardstock. I hope you like this card. I had fun creating it!
Remember to click on the above links to see the stamp sets and supplies I used for this card in greater detail. Have a great week! Hugs!

Workshop cards #3 and #4
Good Morning!
I hope you are having fun looking at my workshop cards that we did this month. Today I am giving you two cards. The first card I did indeed create. But the second one is one that I did NOT create. It is part of a card kit that Close to My Heart designed and created but it was cute and so we did that as one of my workshop cards..more on that later on in this post. Here is the first card:
This card I made with the idea that it would make a great card for that special guy in your life. I am using the Jackson Paper Packet and the The Authentic Life Stamp set.
The Happy Birthday stamp is from the Happy Everything Stamp set.
I took the arrow stamp and stamped it in Juniper Ink and leaving the ink on the stamp, I then rolled the edges of the inked stamp in the Cocoa Stamp pad. Cut this out and set aside.
If you look at the stamp set you will see that the middle stamp with the boarder on it has journaling lines in the middle of the stamp. I took some tape and put over the middle lines and inked it up in the cocoa ink then took the tape off and stamped the image on the white cardstock. Then I took the Happy Birthday stamp and inked in our
Glacier Ink and stamped in the middle. I used the little star stamp and stamped a couple of stars in Cocoa ink by the birthday stamp
I also used the Glacier Ink to stamp the stars on the Glacier Cardstock under the Happy Birthday stamp. I used the Cocoa ink to sponge around everything you see here. I then took a piece of the Glacier Extra Thick Twine tied a knot in it and frayed the edges and attached to the front of the card. Finished it off with some Oceanside Sequins and I am done!
For this next card I am not going to go into a lot of detail because if you look at the card, you can pretty much see how it is done. The instructions for this card are included in our Blossom Cardmaking kit.
This kit has the paper, stamp set and embellishments and instructions on how to make 15 cards: 3 designs of five each. Envelopes are included as well. Here is the card that we made at our workshop:
The only thing you will need for this card is:
Pear Ink Pad as well as:
Smoothie Ink Pad and a black pad.
Our Liquid Glass works great for adhering the Glacier Extra Thick twine. This and the Coral Sequins are included in the kit.
That is it for the workshop cards this week! I hope everyone has a great weekend! Hugs!

Workshop Card #2
Good Morning!
Yesterday, I posted a workshop card and today you get another one!
Today's card is using our special this month. In honor of May being National Scrapbooking month, Close To My Heart created some really fun Summer paper. I posted in my blog earlier this month a card using this paper and here is another one for you to enjoy!
Here is a link to the paper and to the stamp set I used:
Taste of Summer Stamp set
Taste of Summer Paper
The base of the card is white daisy cardstock. I put the cute paper on the front. I then attached the cut out white border on the left side and using our Liquid Glass attached some of our Pixie Extra Thick Twine to the middle of the white border.
The middle of the card is the back of the strawberry paper you see here. I bordered it with
Cranberry Cardstock in the middle.
I then stamped with the Cranberry Ink Pad the frame and using the white daisy cut out, I stamped the sentiment from the Summer stamp set in Hollyhock Ink. Then I glued the sentiment to the inside of the frame.
I then took a scrap piece of white daisy and stamped the strawberry with the Hollyhock and leaving the ink on the stamp, rolled the edges in the Cranberry ink and then stamped on the paper. Do two of these. I then took the little strawberry top and stamped that with Topiary Ink. And then I cut them out! Attached to the front of the card beside the sentiment. I attached one strawberry and then using double stick foam I popped up the other strawberry.
I finished it off using our Flamingo Dots. Thanks for looking and have a great day!
Check back tomorrow for the other workshop cards!

Workshop card #1 for May
Hello all,
Happy Tuesday! Today I am posting one of my workshop cards that my customers did last week. This post will be a bit detailed on how the card is made because I want those who couldn't come to the club to know how to put the card together. If you don't want to know how to do it, just check out the picture below and see what we did. As always, check out the links to see any of the products that I used!
Today's card is a cheery "Bee Happy" card. I think it is the most complicated card of the workshop. Not hard, just a number of steps.
I will start from the bottom of the card and work my way up. The base of the card is our Honey Cardstock and on the top of that, I took a piece of our White Daisy cardstock and I stamped in black the little bee "tracks" from our Happy Everything Stamp Set then I took our Honeycomb Embossing Folder and embossed the White Daisy cardstock. I attached that to the front of the card base. I then used the honeycombs from our Honey comb Stamp set and stamped them with the Honey Stamp pad and on a piece of White Daisy cardstock. Then I cut them out..make sure you leave a small white border around them. Then attach them to a piece of the Honey cardstock that you have torn the edge so the white core shows through..so it looks like this:
Then you want to cut the second row in half and throw that away..
Trim the top part of the remaining pieces and attach to a piece of black cardstock that you have also torn to show the white core. Then you will attach the Honeycomb part to the front of the card as shown above.
On the little piece of the honey cardstock, stamp with the honey ink the chevrons from the above Happy Everything stamp set. And attach that to the black cardstock to border it. Stamp the "Happy as a Bee in Hive" on the stamped Chevron border and put on the card as shown. Now take the two little bees from the Happy everything stamp set. Cut out and attach at the end of the bee tracks you stamped earlier. I used a tiny little piece of double stick foam to make them look like they are buzzing around!
Then I used our Liquid Glass on the bees to make them look glossy and stand out. It takes a little while to dry but the result is so fun! I use this when I want to "pop up" something. I have even used it as rain drops on blue cardstock and they look just like rain! This stuff is wonderful..it can also be used as adhesive to twine, buttons etc. as well. Then I finished by adding a couple of Gold Sequins to the card.
Whew! You made it to the end! I hope you enjoyed making this card! I will try to post tomorrow to show you another workshop card we did! Have a great day! Hugs!

Simple Stencil Card
Happy Saturday!
Today I am showing a very simple card. I just finished a workshop last night and so this week I was preparing for that. So that is why today you get a simple card. Click on the links to see the products I used to create this card and see them in a larger format.
A while ago I was cutting out card bases with my Cricut Artfully Sent Cartridge and I messed up one. It was pretty but not perfect and I couldn't just throw it away. It laid on my crafting table for a number of days while I did other projects. Then it occurred to me that even though it wasn't perfect, I could use it as a stencil for the front of a card!
So I took out three sponge daubers and three ink pads and some white cardstock to stencil..
This is how it turned out:
The three colors of ink I used:
Thistle Ink Pad
Canary Ink Pad
Sweet Leaf Ink Pad
The wreath is a cute single stamp called Friendship Wreath that has the cute saying "Hello Friend" in the inside but I masked that and put the Thank you sentiment from one of the stamp sets from the Cricut Collection that I posted a link to above.
On the wreath I used the Sweet Leaf mini-pigment ink from the Whimsey Mini Pads Set and Clear Superfine Embossing Powder to make it shine.
I used the Thistle Ink to sponge around the edges of the card and the middle piece of cardstock.
I used the Purple Glitter Gems, the Thistle Diagonal Striped Ribbon and the Purple Shimmer Trim to dress up the card.
I then attached the card to Pear Cardstock to make it pop!
This is what the stencil looked like:
I hope you enjoyed this card. Check back next week to see the workshop cards that I did with my customers and how I made them.
Have a great evening! Hugs!

Another Summer card
Happy Saturday!
Today I am posting another card using the National Scrapbooking Paper packet that I introduced earlier this week. This paper is fun to work with because it brings memories of sunshine and happy times. In Colorado we usually see some sunshine no matter what the weather. Woke up Monday morning to Rain and more rain. It has been doing this all week and shows no sign of letting up even today. I know we need the moisture and the grass is so green. But I miss our Colorado sun!
Working with this paper this week has been fun. I am not sure about this card. I feel it needs something but for the life of me I can't seem to figure it out. So I am going to post it anyway! Maybe someone will get some ideas on what to make their card even better than this one.
I have been working on my workshop cards all week and I am done! I made a really cute card for my workshop using paper from this special paper pack but I am not posting that one yet. I have a workshop coming up and want to surprise my customers first. I will post that one later! So stay tuned! Click on the links below to see all the products.
Here is the card:
Things I used to create this card:
Taste of Summer Paper packet
Remember if you want this, it is only available this month! So get it while you can!
To cut the edges of the paper I used
our Cricut cartridge:
Artbooking Cricut collection
Then I used this stamp set:
Finding the Words Stamp Set
It has 37 stamps in this set! You should check it out. I can see myself using this set many times!
The trim in the middle is our glitter trim. It is a nice way to add sparkle without the glitter mess. It has adhesive on the back and all you have to do is peel and stick. We have a number of colors available.
White Shimmer Trim
Black Shimmer Trim
I used our Pear Cardstock and since our cardstock is white core I was able to sand it to get the distressed look.
Finished the card with Black and Grey Sparkles assortment. I hope you have a great weekend and I will see you next week!

Easy Card
Good afternoon everyone!
Today I decided to make a easy and simple card to do!
As card makers and even scrapbookers we all need a card here and there that doesn't require hours and hours to do. As much as I love to create beautiful cards that take a long time to create, there are days that I just don't have the time or energy to do a card like that.
So for today I created a card that was quick and I think it turned out cute! What do you think?
For this card I used Dizzy Circles Stamp set for the circles in the middle.
I used the Stitch Guide and the long
Foam Mat underneath it and used our Piercing and Embossing tool to make the cute edges on the white card stock.
I layered underneath the white card stock a piece of Sunset glossy patterned paper from our Paper Fundamentals Adventure set
I did not have any sequins that matched our Honey ink so I pulled out my package of Coral Reef Sequins and my alcohol Shinhan Touch Marker and colored in the white sequins to match the Honey ink pad. I love using these markers!
The colors I used for this card are:
Pacifica Exclusive Ink Pad
Pear Exclusive Ink Pad
Sunset Exclusive Ink Pad
Honey Exclusive Ink Pad
Don't forget if you want to see the stamp set or any of the other items I mentioned, just click on the highlighted links in this blog and it will take you to my website so you can check it out in detail! Have a great week until I post again! Hugs!

New National Scrapbooking Month Paper
Hello Everyone!
I hope you have had a wonderful week! I am loving this beautiful weather and can't help but look forward to Summer. Today's card is showcasing our brand new National Scrapbooking Month Paper! It is only available for the month of May. Today I am only using one of the sheets but there are 12 sheets of paper for only 8.95!!
Click on this link to see the super cute paper: National Scrapbooking Month paper from CTMH
Here is the card I made with this paper:
I used the front and the back of the lemon paper as well as the strip from the top of our paper for the middle.
I also used Ice Cold Summer stamp set for this card.
We have a fun stamp set that is coordinated with our special paper packet and I just ordered it. Here is what is looks like:
Taste of Summer Stamp set
I don't have this set yet but couldn't resist playing with the fun and cheery paper and using this stamp set that I already have!
I took our Canary Cardstock and embossed it with our Diamond Embossing Folder. I used our Canary Exclusive Ink for the drink and our Gypsy Exclusive Ink for the outside of the glass. I cut out the umbrella with scrap pieces of the lemon paper and embossed in silver embossing powder the pole of the umbrella as well as the sentiment and the ice cubes! I then finished the card using our
Sequins Silver Assortment.
I hope this card leaves you dreaming of hot, relaxing summer days and having a cool and sweet drink! Hope the rest of your weekend is great and see you next week!
