Good Afternoon! I hope you are having a wonderful Saturday!
Sometimes I like to take a stamp set that is originally designed for a certain season and use it for a totally different season. This stamp set was originally used for Fall and using a new color I was able to show that it can be used for any season!
I saw this card sketch on another web site and thought it was cute and decided to "stamp lift" it. I changed it around a bit, added my own stamps, paper etc. and came up with this. I wish I could remember which site it was so I could properly give the correct person who came up with the design the credit! So, if it was you..please accept my apology and thanks for sharing it so I could create as well!
Remember to click on the links to see the items used in detail!
I used the Happy Autumn Stamp set for the flowers and the stamp set from our Pathfinding Card Making Kit for the Thanks.
I used Thistle Ink Pad and our matching Thistle Cardstock.
I then added our Thistle Diagonal Striped Ribbon to the front.
I also used our Floral Embossing Folder to emboss the background piece of white card stock. And used the Thistle ink pad to put a slight bit of color to the edges before I popped it up with 3-D foam tape.
Finished by adding a few of our Purple Glitter Gems. Thanks for stopping by and have a great rest of the weekend! Hugs!

Friendship Card
Today's card is about friendship.
I made this card while I was thinking of how blessed I am to have friends.
I consider myself very, very lucky to have the friends that I have. I know that if I ever need anything they will be there for me. I have leaned on them when things are tough and I know I can ask for support and prayers at any time day or night and they will do it. They have laughed, cried and been happy for me and my family. So for all of you, this card is for you!
I used a Close To My Heart stamp set called Fabulous You.
I used our beautiful Shinhan markers to color the image.
I used the New England Ivy colored patterned paper from the Enchantment Paper Fundamentals paper packet. I also used the back of this paper for the green ribbon on the bottom of the card.
I used the New England Ivy Cardstock for the border around the image.
Using the Dot Embossing Folder, I embossed the message ribbon and the side border.
I also used Red Shimmer trim and Black Sparkles to make it pop! I hope you enjoyed this card. Thanks for stopping by! Hugs!

Workshop Card #4 for July
Happy Friday everyone!
You made it through a whole week..whoo hoo! Today is the last card we made for our July Stamp Club workshop. It has been so fun sharing these with all of you. I hope you enjoyed them as much as I have!
Today's card uses only one color of ink and paper. It was a fun card to make showing how easy it is to design a card and not have to use all kinds of colors and have it still look pretty!
For this card I used the
Topiary Ink Stamp Pad, the matching Topiary Card stock and I then I used the Topiary color of paper from our Paper Fundamental Adventure set.
I used the fun Botanical Backgrounds Stamp set for the middle of the card as well as stamping on scrap paper to cut out the flowers and leaves.
I used the Finding the Words Stamp set for the banner and the sentiments in the middle.
For the base of the card I layered White Daisy cardstock that I embossed with our Quatrefoil Embossing Folder on top of the Topiary cardstock. I attached the Topiary Mini Chevron Ribbon with our wonderful Mini Stapler. Finished off by adding a few of the Bitty Sparkles for that extra pop!
The fun thing about this card is that you can color it in if you choose to or if green isn't your favorite color then using your favorite color and type of paper will work just the same! I hope the cards this week have inspired you to create and share in the fun!
Have a great weekend everyone!

Workshop Card #2 for July
Good Morning! Today I am sharing the 2nd card we made at our stamp club workshop this month. It is a fun little card that you can give to someone who might be having a trial or two and hopefully it will give them a reason to look up and remember the rainbows in life.
This set has some nice sentiments to put on the inside of your card to encourage that special person. After making this card, I realize there are ways that I can improve it and that is o.k. I still like it anyway! Here it is:
I used the Rain or Shine stamp set.
For the background I used the raindrops from the stamp set on our Crystal Blue Cardstock using the same color Crystal blue Stamp Pad.
I then took some of our Liquid Glass and added to some of the raindrops so they have some gloss and shine. This product works great as an adhesive as well.
I stamped the clouds with the crystal blue stamp pad and I used the Canary Stamp Pad for the sun and the Slate Stamp Pad for the storm cloud.
I colored in the rainbow with colored pencils. The end of the rainbow I took some of our White Shimmer Trim and put a couple of strips on a piece of scrap cardstock and and stamped the bottom of the rainbow on it and cut out the sparkly clouds and attached to the bottom of the rainbow.
Thanks for looking! Hope you have a rainbow kind of day! Hugs! and see you tomorrow with another card!

Workshop #1 Card
Hello all!
Last week I promised that I would share the fun cards we made at stamp club night! Today is the first one that we did. I will have three more to share this week. Today's card is using another one of our hostess sets. See last week's posting on how you can get one of these sets without having to be a hostess!!
I posted a picture of the set below.
I used our beautiful Shinhan markers to color the images in.
I used the Seaside Paper Packet, Lagoon Cardstock, Lagoon Ink Pad, Saddle Ink Pad and Glacier Extra Thick Twine to make this card.
I love the sentiment! Because everything is better with friends!
This is what the hostess set looks like! It is called D1608 Better With Friends.
I hope you enjoyed this card. Have a great evening and check back for the rest of my club cards! Hugs!

Smile Card
Hello everyone!
I realized today I haven't posted yet this week. I have been busy getting ready for my stamp club workshop which is tomorrow! I can't wait to show you the cards we get to make at our workshop but until then I decided I better share a card with you today!
Today's card is using a hostess set. Close To My Heart has special stamp sets that are reserved for those who host a gathering and qualify for discounted hostess sets. Wonderful news! For the month of July only for each purchase of $25 in stamps you can get any of our special hostess stamps for only $5. If you spend $50 you can get two hostess stamps for $5 each! You don't even have to be a hostess this month! And so on.. here is the special:
Jump on it July Promotion
So with that in mind I decided to use this stamp set for my card:
It is called Paper Bird.
This is a very simple card I made:
I have provided links below for the supplies I used to make this card:
Stamp set above
Lagoon Cardstock which I then added our cute Lagoon Hearts Washi Tape on the top
Cashmere Cardstock where I then took our Long Stitch Guide with the Long Foam mat underneath it to protect my table and then I used our Piercing and Embossing tool to punch the holes in the cardstock and also on the top and bottom of the butterfly image. I also used our Score Board to do the lines in the Cashmere cardstock. Because our cardstock has a white core, after scoring I then sanded the lines to make them stand out even more.
I then stamped the butterfly with our Sorbet Stamp Pad and then bordered the image with the matching Sorbet Cardstock. I then added a few of our Oceanside sequins to finish! It didn't take that long and it is a fun card to have on hand to send!
Look for my workshop cards next week and until then have a great weekend! Hugs to all!

Quick Birthday card
Hello everyone!
Today I am going to show you a card that was fast to do and I think turned out cute! I am making this for a friend and I hope she likes the color purple!
I used the Thistle and the Canary paper from CTMH Paper Fundamentals Whimsey Assortment.
Using the Canary paper I cut out the flower design with our Artfully Sent Cricut Cartridge. I then used our Scallop Border Punch to do the bottom of the Thistle paper.
I used the banner birthday stamp set called Finding the Words. I used our Purple Adhesive backed Shimmer Trim, our Thistle Diagonal Striped Ribbon and then finished it off with some of our Purple Glitter Gems.
I hope you enjoyed this card. Have a great weekend! Hugs!
