Thankful Card

I know everyone is busy posting some beautiful Christmas cards and I love each of them but for today's card I am using the cute Thankful For You Stamp Set and Thin Cuts Bundle.  This set include 19 stamps and 9 metal dies!  It is only available until the end of December. It is not a Christmas card but one that can be used for many different seasons and who knows I might need to send a Thankful card to someone special!

I also used the Swan Lake Paper Packet that goes with the stamp set.

I also used the the Adhesive Backed Coral Shimmer Trim.

Have a great evening and check back at another time to see more of my creations!

Hugs to all!

Joy Christmas Card

For this card I am showcasing the Perfectly Pine Stamp Set and the Mini Joy Stamp Set.

I am also using the beautiful Oh Deer Paper Packet.

For the pine cones I used the Cocoa Exclusive Stamp Pad and the Chocolate Exclusive Stamp Pad.  For the branches I used the Fern Exclusive Stamp Pad.

After stamping the pine cones, I stamped over the top of the stamped image with the Versamark Ink Pad and then sprinkled the Clear Superfine Embossing Powder over the top.  I then heat set it. This makes the pine cones shiny.  I did the same with the Joy stamp.  Cut out the pine cones by hand.

I sponged all the edges of the papers with cocoa ink.  I used the White and Gold Twine over the top of the pine cones.
FYI the fold for this card is at the top.  Simple but elegant card to share.  Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a great day!

Pretty Snowflake Card

Hello!
For today's card I started out by using
Sea Glass Cardstock and embossing it with the Snowflake Embossing Folder

I then took out some pretty White Glitter Cardstock and cut out the beautiful snowflakes using the Thin Cuts Snowflakes

Then I took the cute little Merry Christmas Stamp Set and the Sea Glass Mini Pigment Ink Pad and stamped on a piece of white cardstock.  I then used Superfine Clear Embossing Powder over the stamped image to make it shine.  I then sponged the edges of the white cardstock  and the embossed Sea Glass cardstock with the Sea Glass Exclusive Ink Pad.  I took the white cardstock and bordered it with the Sea Glass Glitter Paper.  Put the card together and then finished by adding some more bling to the middle of the snowflakes with Clear Sparkles.  Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great day!  Hugs!

Poinsettia Christmas Card 2016

For today's card I am showcasing the
Pretty Poinsettia Stamp Set.  You can cut these flowers out by hand or you can use the Cricut Flower Market Cartridge to cut the images out.

I stamped the flowers with Cranberry Exclusive Ink Pad.  I colored in the leaves with the Shinhan Sap Green Marker.  I also cut one of the petals out of the fun Red Glitter Paper to make it pop a bit. I also used the red glitter paper on side of the card. I finished the flowers with a Red Enamel Gem

I took a piece of white card stock and embossed it with the Confetti Stars Embossing Folder and also using the Square Diffuser to leave a smooth area to stamp my sentiment.   I bordered that paper with a piece of Cranberry Cardstock.  Put it all together and you are done!  Thanks for dropping by and seeing my creations. Have a wonderful day!  Hugs!

Two All Occasion Happy Cards

Today I am showcasing two cards with the same pattern but with different papers and colors.

For this card I used the Enchantment Fundamental Paper Packet for the background and for under the circle.
For the "happy" I used the Happy Thin Cuts Die and cut it out of the same paper packet.

I embossed the circle with the Wood Slats Embossing Folder as well as some of leaves. I cut out the leaves, stems and acorns using the New Cricut Flower Market Cartridge.

I on purpose left the sentiment off the card. With the word happy you could add any type of sentiment that you want such as:
Happy Day, Happy birthday, Happy Thanksgiving, Happy Retirement, Happy For You  etc.

This card is the same pattern as above but on this card I used the Adventure Fundamental Paper Packet.

I used the Shower Flowers Stamp Set.
I used the Raspberry Stamp PadWillow Stamp PadLemon Stamp Pad and the Blossom Stamp Pad

Like above I used the thin cuts to cut out the Happy message.

Finished the card with some cute Bitty Sparkles.

Hope you enjoyed stopping by!  Have a great day!  Hugs!

Cheery Thinking of You Card

First of all Happy Halloween! You can see that I didn't post a Halloween card today..gasp! LOL  There are so many cute ones out there, I thought I would  post something totally different!

For this card I started by using the  Ink Blot Stamp Set for the background.  When you first look at this set you might not know what to do with  it. But with 7 different "ink blot" stamps the things you can create are endless.  I used Lemon Exclusive Ink and Tangerine Exclusive Ink for the background on the white card.

I used  Tangerine and Lemon white-core cardstock from Close To My  Heart on the side. Just by tearing the edge, you can expose the white core for a fun look.  I stamped the Tangerine ink on  the yellow cardstock.

I then took the new Thin Cuts Wreath Die and cut out a wreath and then I took the Wreath Stamp  and stamped the image.  I colored it in with  Shinhan markers that Close To My Heart has in their catalog.

I then took out our newest Cricut cartridge called  Flower Market Cricut Collection and cut out the cute little flowers also using the tangerine and lemon cardstock.   I attached them to the wreath and added some of my favorite Bitty Sparkles to center of the flowers.  Our Cricut collection not only has the Cricut cartridge that has over 700 images: shapes, borders, banners, titles, fonts and flowers but the collection also has three stamp sets and a package of cardstock!  So the sentiment is from one of those stamp sets! I then put some 3-D Foam Tape behind the  wreath and attached over the sentiment.

I had fun making this card. Thanks so much for stopping by. See you in November. Have a wonderful day!  Hugs!

Autumn Thank You Card

Today I am showcasing a cute stamp set called   Forest Feast.  It shows the cutest set of Pilgrims! There are five Thanksgiving stamps included in this set.

For the thank you sentiment stamp I used a set called Happy Heart.  This set also has five stamps in this set.  One of my favorite sets that I use all of the time!

The background paper that is used on the card is from the Enchantment Fundamentals Collection.  This collection has 24 - 12x12 sheets (two each of 12 double-sided designs).  These rich, deep colors make Autumn cards and scrapbook pages turn out beautiful!   In fact, because I needed to make some Thank You cards, I decided to use the same stamp sets on all the cards. The only thing I did was use different colors of the paper included in the above set.  See the picture below!

Make sure to click on the highlighted links to see all the products in detail!

Isn't this fun!  Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a great weekend and check back for more creations.  Hugs!

Embossed Christmas Card

Good Morning!  For today's card I am
showcasing our October Stamp of the Month
called  Yuletide Joy.  This is a set of 7 stamps that include a star, stocking, present, bell and three Christmas sentiments. Click on the highlight link to see the set.

For this card I used the Confetti Embossing Folder on a piece of white card stock.  I then took the Versamark Ink Pad and lightly ran it over the raised dots from the embossing pad. Then I sprinkled some Gold Embossing Powder on the dots and heat set it.

Using the bell from the above Stamp of the Month,  I embossed that on a piece of white card stock.  I then added a larger Clear Sparkle to the bottom of the bell and then a couple of Bitty Sparkles to the middle of the bell.

I also added a bow using the new Black Shimmer Ribbon from Close To My Heart.  I bordered it all in black card stock.  Remember if black isn't your favorite color, you can emboss it and just add your favorite Christmas color and ribbon.  You could even use the star or the present instead of the bell and one of the other Christmas sentiments included in the set.   Hope you enjoyed this and thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a good day!   Hugs!

Sympathy Card

Much to my dismay I needed to make another sympathy card.  It always makes me sad to have to make them but I just couldn't let the day go by without some sort of acknowledgment to this friend of mine.

For this card I took one of the pocket cards from the Swan Lake Paper Packet and cut it out.

I then took out the Poppy mini-pigment ink from the Enchantment Exclusive Mini-pigment ink Set and some Clear Embossing Powder.
Then I took a Sympathy Stamp from the Heartfelt Thoughts Stamp Set and using the Poppy Ink, I embossed the sentiment to the front of pocket card.

I tied some White Twine to the front, added a Clear Sparkle and then attached it to a piece of Poppy Cardstock and then attached to the card base.   I like how it worked so well with the pocket cards that are included in our paper packet.

Thanks for stopping by and checking out my blog.

The stamp I used is our super cute Little Leaves Stamp .  For the Hello sentiment I cut it out of the Raspberry Cardstock  using the Hello and Thanks Thin Cuts.

I also used the cute White and Gold Ribbon as well as the Gold Sequins Assortment to accent the card.

Thanks for stopping by to check out my latest creation!  Have a great weekend everyone!

Monster Birthday!

A fun card showcasing the brand new Monstrous Halloween Set.  Who says that you have to use it for Halloween?  This set also includes a birthday stamp for those cute little monsters that have a birthday in October!

And the fun thing about this set is that you can purchase the stamp set separate or you can do a thin cuts bundle that you can use with your favorite die cutting machine to cut out the cute little monsters.  Check it out here:
Monstrous Halloween Thin Cuts Bundle.

The super cute monster paper and patterned paper is from the Jeepers Creepers Paper Packet.

I stamped the little monsters with the Tangerine Exclusive Stamp PadWillow Exclusive Ink Stamp Pad and the Lagoon Exclusive Ink Stamp Pad.
Then to make them "shiny" I then took the stamps and stamped the Versamark Pad on the already stamped image and then sprinkled some Clear Embossing Powder on the top and heat set it with the Craft Heater .

I went through my stash of embellishments and found the cute little eyes that worked just great!  That is the end of the workshop cards!  Hope you had as much fun looking as I did making them!  Hugs!

This card today showcases one of my favorite stamp sets from the new catalog.  It is called
Sweet Birthday.  Super cute stamp set with 9 stamps.

The background paper is from the Whimsy Fundamentals Paper Pack.  I used the Thistle Cardstock behind the stamped image and the cut out ribbon.

I sponged the patterned paper and the white cardstock pieces with the matching Thistle Exclusive Ink Pad.

I colored in the cute cupcake image with Small Round Waterbrush and Watercolor paints.  Such a fun card to make and give away!  Hope you enjoyed this. Hugs!

Flower Birthday Card

I made this card for a special friend of mine. She always  has a smile for me and I love her her kind ways and how she shows her love to everyone she meets.

For this card I used two Cricut cartridges to cut out ALL the images on this card. The first cartridge is called Cricut Artbooking and the second one is called Cricut Flower Market. The flower market cartridge is brand new for Close To My Heart!  Click on the links above to see them.

I also used the Confetti Embossing Folder for the raised dots on the white cardstock.

I used the new Seaglass Cardstock for the vase, bow, happy birthday and base.  I used the Sweet leaf Cardstock for the flower stems and the Canary Cardstock for the flowers.

Kitty Birthday

Hello Everyone!

I have been meaning to get this on my blog and finally here it is!
I made this card for my awesome sister-in-law who loves cats as much as I do!  It was a fun card to make!

Here is a list of the products that I used to make this card.  Make sure to click on the links if you want to see them larger and how to purchase them if you are interested.

I started off by using Sweet Leaf Cardstock for the base of my card.  I then embossed the front using the Confetti Stars Embossing Folder.  Since the cardstock has a white core, I sanded lightly the raised stars to make them pop.

I used the Short and Sweet Sentiments Stamp Set Qty 12 for the balloons. I used the Super Fine Clear Embossing Powder and birthday sentiment from the above set and embossed on a piece of white cardstock.  Then I used the balloon from the Happy For You Stamp Set Qty of 25 and stamped over the embossed Happy Birthday image in three colors of ink:  Sorbet Ink PadCanary Ink Pad and Pixie Stamp Pad.  I then took the super sharp Micro tip Scissors and cut out the balloons.

I then took a piece of Canary Cardstock and a piece of Sorbet Cardstock out of my scrap box to make the gift. I used the new Thin Cuts - The Gift Metal Dies to cut out the gift. I attached some pretty White Glitter Paper behind the gift to make it sparkle.

I then pulled out my Cricut Artistry Cartridge to cut out the cute cats.  I used black cardstock and Slate Cardstock.  I attached it all together with some 3-D Foam Tape.

Thanks for stopping by and checking out my creation. I have workshop in the next day or so and I will have even more cards to show you!  Have a wonderful day!  Hugs!

I used the Charming Cascades Stamp Set to stamp the hearts at the bottom of the card (this set also has some cascade dots and stars..click on the link to see!)   And then for the hearts and the sentiment I used my new favorite Happy Heart Stamp Set

I also used some Liquid Glass to make the hearts shiny and pop out a bit! I then finished the card with a strip of our fun adhesive backed White Shimmer Trim
Now I am off to get these cards addressed and sent in the mail!  Have a great day everyone!  I know I will!  Hugs!

Simple Thank You

Hello!

Sometime you need a card but don't have a lot of time to sit down and create.  This card is a simple but elegant card that takes little time to create but I love the results.

I am using Happy Heart Stamp Set.  I am thinking this will be another stamp set that I will be using over and over.  Click on the link and check it out!

I used the new Chevron Embossing Folder along with the Square Diffuser so I could have a "non-embossed" area to  stamp my sentiment.

The patterned paper is from the Whimsy Fundamentals Paper Packet. 24 double-sided sheets of pure wonderful!

I used Juniper Exclusive Ink Pad and Pixie Exclusive Ink Pad for the sentiments and the sponging around the paper and the white card base.

I finished by adding the white embossed piece to a piece of Juniper Cardstock and adding a few of my favorite Bitty Sparkles.

Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a great weekend and check in next week. Hopefully I will have more creations to share with you. Hugs!!

Finished off by adding a few Pink Enamel Gems and tying the top with the White Twine.  Thanks for stopping by!  Have a wonderful day!  Hugs!

Workshop Hawaiian Hibiscus Shabby Chic card July 2016

Hello all!
Did you think that I had dropped from the face of the earth?  Nope, but super busy and I finally get back to my joy of posting cards.  I have had the joy of watching my youngest son get married to a darling girl out of state and I experienced sorrow when we had to do a memorial service to say good-bye to my daddy and then again joy when we got to host a wedding reception for my son and new daughter-in-law and throw in a camping trip and workshop and that is why I haven't posted! LOL

Today's card is my take on a shabby chic style of card..

For this card I used the following items:
Kraft Cardstock for base
White Daisy Cardstock for 2nd Layer
Calypso Paper Packet for the blue
Spray Pen  that you add re-inker and water in it and spritz the white daisy cardstock for that soft background color.

Using the super sharp Micro-tip scissors, I distressed all the edges of the papers. Then I used the Exclusive Chocolate Ink Pad and sponged around all the edges to get that shabby look.

Used my Cricut machine and the Cricut Artbooking Collection to cut the border with Kraft paper.

The hibiscus stamp is from the Hawaiian Hibiscus Stamp Set. Then using the Small waterbrush  and the beautiful Watercolor Paints I colored in the flower and leaves that were stamped on Watercolor paper.

After it was assembled then I added a few Enamel and Glitter Dots to finish the card.
Thanks so much for stopping by and check back in a few days for another card!  Have a great day. Hugs!

Sympathy Card

Hello!
Happy Saturday everyone!

It seems that even though I love, love making cards, it is so hard for me to make a sympathy card. But thank goodness I have the supplies to do so.

Click on the links to see the supplies used to make this card.

Started with a patterned paper from the Zoe Paper Pack.

Stamped the Sympathy sentiment from the  Sincere Expressions Stamp Set.

Attached to the front of the card base then attached a strip of Crystal Blue Cardstock and then I took a piece of Sorbet Cardstock and ran it through the Damask Embossing Folder.  I sanded the top to bring out the pattern a bit more then attached to the strip of the blue cardstock.

I then took some Sweet Leaf Cardstock and using the Cricut Artistry Cartridge I cut the base of the flowers out.   I took those cute bases and put the leaf section through the Damask Embossing folder. I finished them out by sponging the edges with Sweet Leaf Ink Pad.  I then took some Canary Cardstock and cut out the matching flowers using the above Cricut cartridge and attached to the base.

I then dug through my stash and found some black gems (discontinued) to put in the middle of the flowers. Done!

Thanks for stopping by!  Hope your weekend is a great one!  Hugs!

For the decorative paper I used Magical Paper package and for the circle cardstock I used Honey Cardstock and the blue under the red patterned paper I used Crystal Blue Cardstock.

I used a mini stamp set called Pinata Occasions and this cute set is only $2.95!  I then used the Doodled Designs Stamp Set around the Pinata stamp.   Then I took our fun new Medium Waterbrush and the palette of our beautiful Watercolor Paints and brushed a light blue color to the doodled edge. Colored the pinata with the wonderful ShinHan markers.   Attached all the pieces together and added a strip of the fun Silver Shimmer Trim under the Pinata and then added some sequins from the Magical Sequins set.  Done!

Workshop card #3 for May 2016

Hello there,

Here is another workshop card that we did:

As usual, click on the links in this post to see the stamp set and supplies used in greater detail. Most of the time the stamp set has more stamps than what is used on the card so don't forget to check out the link!

For the base of the card I used Whisper Cardstock and then I took a piece of White Daisy Cardstock and stamped the sentiment from A Bunch of Love Stamp Set using the Whisper Exclusive Ink Pad.

Then I used the Chevron Embossing Folder over the top of the stamped image. Then I added  a piece of Whisper Thick Twine to the front and attached to the card base.

I then took one of the dies from the Bunch of Love Thin Cuts Dies and cut the image out and then I took the matching stamp from the above Bunch of Love stamp set and using the Slate pigment ink pad from the Basic Mini Pigment Ink Set, I stamped the image and then embossed with Clear Embossing Powder.

I then took the Watercolor Pencils and using the brand new Small Watercolor Brush, I water colored  the flowers. I attached  the cut out image on top of the twine and then added some pretty sequins from the new Florence Sequins Embellishments.

Thanks for stopping by today!  Have a great day!  Hugs!
